Pure stupidity!
The dictionary’s definition on the word stupidity is: the state of being silly or unwise. Well, in this content I would argue that the word has a second definition, the state of following once heart and passion at least that’s what Carl does. I found Carl to be the type of person that follows his heart and achieves whatever he seats his mind to. Now, that I find truly inspiring. When he decided to cycle throw Europe, the only thing that could stop him was a flat tire, which he would be able to fix, I would like to believe that this man can do anything he wants to if he only seats his mind to it. Which might sound moderately stupid, my definition of the word, however when you longing for something as bad as Carl wanted to sail around the world others assessment won’t matter.
On the other side of the pack is Yanne. What I found really interesting was how Yanne fount the passion for sailing after getting a taste of it. Once he got his heart into it, Yanne was unstoppable. The two men are very different but I wasn’t until the trip started that I understood what they had in common, the passion and drive to do anything.
