Dear You?
Dear you? I have been reading the first three chapter of the book. So what do I got to say about it so far? I thought the book was going to start with the day when they were heading out to sail around the world. But I was wrong, it’s more than that. First we get to know why they are doing this trip and how they came up with the idea. I find it very interesting that they just shook hands and decided to sail around the globe. I discovered that very brave and spontaneous. But now back to what chapters 1-3 were about. The story behind the handshake is funny. Calle and Yanne are on a cycling tour, to cycle from Sweden to Lisbon. This was Calles dream and Yanne as a good friend that he is, he decided to come along. When they reach France, Calle and Yanne meet some Frenchmen and got to see their sailing boat. Then the idea struck Calle, Why not sail around the world?
I find the book very entertaining and instructive. Because it’s not only about a great friendship and a big adventure, it’s also a lot about culture and inspiration. I as a reader get to learn about culture and things I did not know anything about before.
